Refunds and cancelling
Cancelling in one click, the rights you have in law, how Paddle handles refunds as the merchant of record, and what happens to your codes.

1. Cancelling
Cancelling takes one click, with no offers or questions in the way, and a cancelled plan runs to the end of the period already paid for. You cancel from Billing in your account, the same way you subscribed. Nothing is charged again, and the codes your plan keeps live go on working to the end of the period you have paid for, then through the 14-day grace period.
2. Refunds
Refunds are handled by Paddle, the merchant of record that sells our plans, under Paddle’s buyer terms. Nothing here takes away the rights you have in law.
QRVane does not offer a refund window or a money-back guarantee of its own. Paddle is the seller, so a refund is Paddle’s to make, under the Paddle buyer terms you accept at its checkout.
3. How to ask
Ask Paddle, through the link on the receipt Paddle emailed you, or at paddle.net, which finds your purchase from the address and card you paid with. If Paddle needs something from us, write to hello@qrvane.com from the address on your account and we will answer Paddle. How long a refund takes to arrive depends on your bank.
4. Your rights by law
Nothing on this page takes away the rights you have in law. If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day you subscribe to change your mind; Paddle’s buyer terms set out how that works for your purchase. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 also gives you remedies if the service is not as described or not carried out with reasonable care.
5. What a refund does to your codes
A refund ends the subscription, and the codes it kept live then get the same 14-day grace period as any other ending, with the same notices, before they stop. After a subscription ends we email its owner when the 14-day grace period starts, and again 7 days and 1 day before those codes stop. Once a code stops, a scan shows a plain QRVane page that says the code's 14-day free period has ended, or that its owner's plan has ended, with a line for its owner to sign in and subscribe. There is no fake error and no advert. Subscribing brings back, at once, every code the plan keeps live. A code's scans can be exported as CSV at every stage: in its first 14 days, in a grace period and after it stops.
A payment that is reversed or charged back through a bank ends its subscription the same way as a refund.
If you want the codes your plan keeps live to work to the end of your paid period, cancel rather than ask for a refund. A code inside its own first 14 days is unaffected either way: nothing was paid for it.
6. More
The terms of service say more about payments, renewals and what happens when a subscription ends.
